An old, dark massage place was transformed into a warm, airy environment for the skincare business. The carefully chosen materials and colors echo with the Traditional Chinese Medicine root that the business’s skincare technique is related to.

Food Store in Wethersfield

This is an adaptive reuse project, which will transform an old food factory into a food retail establishment. The factory used to be a major employer in the local community, and has been abandoned for decades. This adaptive reuse adventure will revive the building, and hopefully bring people back to the area for shopping purposes, as well as employment opportunities.

The client is one of the largest curtain wall manufacturers in China. They used their own products on this building. The simple shape of the building works with the marble and glass curtain walls to create an image of a heavy stone floating in the air.
